This magnificent piece was a lot of fun to make! The center stone is a five carat custom cut Red Spinel. The bezel around the stone is 18kt yellow gold and the platinum shank has a wide opening to accommodate a gold neck wire when it is opened to the pendant position. We called this a “ringdant”. Our client loved it even more than we did. (And we liked it a LOT!)
