I will send you items on approval, and you may buy or not buy the diamond within 10 days. The mounting is unconditionally satisfaction guaranteed for 60 days from the time you receive it. If for any reason you decide you don't like it, you may return the mounting for either replacement or money back, your choice. This applies even to custom designs! To make your choosing easier, I send designs via e-mail, as well as photos of the item. When you have chosen a design, I will send you a wax to try on for approval. I get your approval every step of the way, and do nothing until you say it is the way you want it, then still give you sixty days to change your mind. (Hey, it happens! Just not very often.) I also can help you with insurance through Jewelers Mutual, a company that works exclusively with jewelers. The rates vary state to state, but are usually lower than your homeowners. Once a year you have the jewelry inspected by a store who works with Jewelers Mutual and resubmit your premium for another year's coverage. Every purchase from Winfield's is accompanied by an appraisal that you can use either with Jeweler's Mutual, or with your homeowners if you prefer. Q: How do I know you are going to be there tomorrow? A: I have been here all of my life except for eight years with the Marine Corps that took me to Vietnam, and Brazil where I became enamored of the gem trade. I will be here as long as I live.
